Good! Paris deserves a lot more than 45 days but at least she is sitting some time. Paris is worthless, who lies on her back for anyone, she's a joke! |

This is total BS. I was arrested for a DWI offense. I blew .09. I had to go to a drinker driver program which lasted about 2 months and pay $330 in fines and then i was able to get my full license back.
It seems that her inital punishment (probation for 36 months, $1500 in fines etc..) was excessive from the beginning.
To be required to go to a alcohal education program is ludacris. They tell you how bad of a person you are, claim u r an alcoholic, and dehumanize you.
She is now going to go to jail alongside robbers, rapist, and real criminals because she had 2 drinks and decided to drive. I got news for you. The legal limit used to be .10. She blew a .08 which is not even "buzzed"
Keep her out of jail. Give her some community service or something but do not send a woman like her to jail with criminals |

I think the judge is just showing that just because she is Paris Hilton doesn't mean she is above the law. If it were any other joe smole they would get the same sentance. |
that's good for her... she needs to learn her lesson, she thinks she can buy law because she rich. no way... good for her...

Kathy Hilton needs to get with the fricken program...there's nothing disgusting about Paris's sentencing. She's a big girl and it's time to start acting like one. Perhaps, if her mother hadn't raised her to believe that she deserves more than the average person Paris wouldn't be in this predicament. She broke the law and then ignored authorities by driving with a suspended liscence...she deserves no less than what she got. Obviously, she learned nothing from her first sentencing...maybe this time authorities have gotten her attention. |
Fine - now that the Paris Hilton world news are over, let her go and serve those measly 45 days and learn a lesson! Enough of this poor, rich, spoiled, overpriviledged brat! They are going to \\\"appeal\\\"? Good parenting - shame on you mom and dad for defending your out of control brat's behavior! |

I think she treated with more leaniant than most individuals. She and her family are not above the law, just because they have MONEY.
If it were a common man like myself, they would have gotten more time than she got, and I'm a 100% disabled Veteran. If anyone deserves a break or special treatment it would be me. But. I don't deserve it neither. I would have paid the price also. But, then again I've been paying the price all my adult life, For spoiled RICH CHILDREN like her. All I can say is GROW UP, If Your Going To Play, You Have Pay. Her and Mom needs to quit crying. Personally I don't think it was a waste of TAX PAYER'S MONEY. I think It was TAX PAYER'S MONEY well spent. I don't know why her mother thinks it a waste of TAX PAYER'S MONEY. They don't pay TAXES, they spend MONEY working on NOT PAYING TAXES. It all boils down to MONEY. It's not what you know, it's who you know. And, this time her and her mother didn't know the Right Person. Good Job YOUR HONOR. If she had gotten out off or out of it, then I would be upset, with the Judical system |
I'm shocked that the judge would order her to jail. |
Maybe this will teach kids that drinking and driving is a serious offense and that it will have a positive impact on society |
Can we see "the simple life: jail edition" anytime in the near future? Maybe instead of Nicole richie, we can see paris, busta rhyme and eva |
Prosecutors also want the hotel heiress to be banned from consuming alcohol for 90 days and that she wear a monitoring device to ensure she complies with this order. Hilton, 26, was spotted driving along Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on February 28 without her headlights on. Her police stop showed Hilton had been sentenced the previous month to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines after she pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving stemming from a September arrest. Sounds like she got a good deal from prosecutors and got away far from the maximum sentance |
Now I hear that she might not spend the entire time in jail due to over crowding. Nice to know criminals get out early because we can't house them. |
mike, you should have been her lawyer. |
The judge is a hypocrit there is no way in h*** he has gone his whole life never making mistakes. Should rot in h*** with h omni present Jesus..oh I can see paris with her fingers under the covers being locked up that long.. |
shes going to get raped and if she doesnt its because of daddys money |
I'm tired of celebrities like this being above the law. You do the crime, you do the time. It's call CONSQUENCES. New concept, I know... |
She is the role model for so many young people and perhaps this sentence will wake up many of them, and see that no matter who you are or how famous and rich you are you are accountable for your actions YouŽll see this is going to help her to be more humble and with her two feet on the ground. Kudos to the judge. |

Let's see how much change there is in her after this totally dies down. I don't think it will be the last time we hear about her and trouble with the law. She has the mindset of a teenager gone wild and the parents upholding anything she does. Even good ol' mom drinking and partying with her. So much for motherhood in her life. |
